THE PRODUCTION:
The Dance Ballet is planned with 12 Classical Bharata Natyam Dancers from Port Elizabeth and Durban.
- The Orchestra, which has been pre recorded in India, includes a Vocalist, Mridangam & Tabla Player, Violinist, Flautist, a Morsing Player, Dholak, Swarmandala and a Conductor or the Nattavanar.
- The songs shared are in Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and English. We also have one item sung in a Quwali style.
- The Poet will share the stories of the past times through the items and linking them by reading different aspects of the Srimad Bhagavatam & The Bhagavatgita, that are appropriate to each item.
- Our Iskon Devotee representing Krishna will enlighten us about the reasons for each Leela and why is it our destiny to have certain experiences with the Lord or why because of a Karmic cycle do certain experiences occur. All this would be recited and taken from the Srimad Bhagvatam.
- ALL THE ITEMS WILL SHOWCASE THE DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIPS WE HAVE WITH OUR RADIANT DARK LORD, FROM MOTHER, LOVER, FRIEND, BHAKTHA, GOPI, AND AS DRAUPADI. THE MAIN ITEM OF THE BALLET WOULD BE A VARNAM, CHINNE' KRISHNA IN RAGAM ATANA, SHARING THE GREAT EPIC STORIES OF SRI KRSNA LINKED TO THE SRI BRAHMA SAMHITA.

The Dance Ballet is scheduled for Port Elizabeth, Opera House for the 24th & 25th September 2011
- Durban - Sibaya Izulu Theatre the 7th , 8th & 9th October.
- The second stage is planned for March 2012 for Johannesburg and Zambia and then Mauritius and India.
- Classes and Rehearsals of the production would take place in Port Elizabeth and Durban.
