A senior most disciple of the Dhananjayans who came from London to teach and share in our school for one month. Shobanaa akka is also a senior disciple of renowned Abhinaya Artists, Smt. Kalanadhi Narayan.
This valued time saw the vision of Natya Ananda materialise. This was to have brilliantly structured classes, giving students the opportunity to experience dance classes as it is conducted in India. The classes were intense, focused and extremely vigorous. The students accomplished goals set for themselves as well as set for them in their respective groups. A brilliant class encompassing all the essentials of dedicated teaching skills to enhance and develop exceptional dance skills and knowledge.

 

 

The students successfully completed new groups of adavus, korvais and items according to the level of the group. Shobanaa akka has proven to be a great asset to Natya Ananda and has won over the hearts and respect of all our students and parents.
Her stay culminated in a special temple programme where Akka presented a few special items. The parents and students sat I  awe at her exceptional technique, her grace and mastery of the art of Abhinaya.
Shobanaa akka has been a great sense of motivation and encouragement to our parents, students and myself. Her support to our school is invaluable and her tuition will allow us to reach our vision and goal of an institute of excellence.
